Visiting Parliament

Tours around Parliament

I can arrange tours of the House of Lords and the House of Commons with an official tour guide. Tours are free of charge, but are very popular and must be booked in advance with my London office on 0207 2196824, or by email at bayleyh@parliament.uk.

Tour times when Parliament is in session are as follows:
Mondays between 9am to 12pm
Tuesdays between 9am and 12pm
Wednesdays between 9am and 10am
Thursdays – no tours
Fridays between 3.30pm and 5pm

These times change slightly when parliament is in recess. During the summer there are limited tours on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The other days are given over to tours operated by the Summer Opening programme, which are ticketed. These can be booked by visiting the Summer Opening website.

Big Ben Tours

I can also arrange for my constituents to have a tour of Big Ben. Space is extremely limited and early booking, 3-6 months in advance, is recommended. Please note that Children under the age of 11 are not permitted. Please contact my London office for details.

Tickets for Prime Minister's Question Time and other Parliamentary debates

I can organise visitors' gallery tickets for the House of Commons and the House of Lords. I will make every effort to obtain tickets for a specific date or debate, but this is not always possible.

Prime Ministers Questions takes place every Wednesday at 12pm. Each MP is allocated two tickets for PMQs every few months or so, so I operate a waiting list system. Please contact my London office for further details.
